課程概述 |
本課程係公共衛生學院流行病學及預防醫學研究所(預防醫學組)博士班一年及學生必修，為繼碩士班預防醫學導論、預防醫學論文研究設計等入門課程後之專題討論課程，授課期間為一學期，學分數為一學分。
This course include the following parts:
A) Summarize literature reviewed (systematic review) from fall semester.
- Methodology of literature search
- PICOS
B) Perform meta analysis
- Protocol writing
- Study selection (quality and screening)
- Statistical analysis (bias assessment, pooled results)
C) Present results of meta-analysis and interpret the findings
- Write a report for the meta-analysis

課程目標 |
1) Understand how to select a topic for meta-analysis
2) Summarize the findings from multiple studies by suing meta-analysis based on the systematic review in fall semester
3) Write a manuscript for paper submission |

課程要求 |
1) Present the process and results of meta-analysis
2) Participate in the class and comment on other students' work
3) Write a final report
